Ruben Amorim calls Man Utd Player brutally after Real Sociedad Draw

Manchester United was held a draw of Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

Ruben Amorim shouted a Manchester United star after his side against Real Sociedad in the Europa League.

The Red Devils were in action in the Basque Country on Thursday evening when they take on La Liga -Kant Sociedad in the first stage of their Europa League Last 16 Clash.

For a full crowd in the Anoeta, United took the lead by Joshua Zirkzee in the 57th minute.

Captain Bruno Fernandes, however, was assessed to have treated the ball in the 18-year box, which gave Sociedad the chance to level the match of the place.

The Spanish international Mikel Oyarzabal Cooly sent the penalty to secure a 1-1 draw for next week’s second stage in Old Trafford.

After the game, Amorim was asked about the failure of Diogo Dalot to find Rasmus Hojlund in a certain passage of the game.

Dalot had the ball in a great position on the right with Hojlund who made a good run in the middle and the Daan was in a good position to receive the ball for what a US would be a against the keeper. However, the full-back did not succeed in entering a new pass instead to play a new pass and the movement eventually broke off.

The United Boss replied: “The decision was not the best.”

In addition to the performance of his team, Amorim stated that he felt that United played well until the penalty was given.

He said: “I think we played well to the penalty. But then I think, I think, a bit the momentum of the game. I felt that the team was a bit tired in the last 20 minutes and that also helped them take control of the game in the last 20 minutes.

“Until the punishment we had control, had the opportunities. After our goal we were really good because we were near the second goal.”

Amorim continued: “That is clear. We create opportunities. Sometimes you don’t see it in the XG because we are unable to shoot, but the great chance is there and you can see it.

“We have transitions, we have situations, and sometimes we miss something. And that can change, especially in this kind of game, that you need goals that can make a difference for everyone.”

United will be confronted this weekend with a huge test when they return to Premier League action against Arsenal in Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
