12 injured in photographing in Toronto Pub

Twelve people were injured on Friday evening in a shooting in a pub in Toronto, the police said.

The shooting took place around 10:39 am near Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive, said the Toronto police, which is located in the Scarborough section of the city.

Four people who are not life threatening, the police said. Incapsions varied from criticism to minor, said Toronto Paramedic Services by telephone.

The shooter was described as wearing a black Balaclava and was seen on the flight in a silver car, the police said.

Video from CTV showed first -responders who ran one patient on a stretcher to an ambulance, and heavily armed police on the spot.

Mayor Olivia Chow of Toronto said in a statement posted on social media that all police resources have been deployed.

“I am deeply troubled to hear reports of a shooting in a pub in Scarborough. I spoke with Chief Demkiw and he assured me that all the necessary resources have been used,” said Chow, referring to Toronto Chief of Police Myron Demkiw.

“This is an early and ongoing investigation – the police will provide further details. My thoughts are with the victims and their families,” she said.
