by Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes is not one to go back from a fight. Rhodes, with a black eye, gave a passionate speech about WWE Smackdown after the shocking conclusion of the elimination room.
Cenas heel Turn and alignment with the rock was one of the most popular stories of sport last week. Rhodes fell victim to the betrayal of Cena, but it only feeds him for them Wrestlemania 41 Title competition. On Friday, Rhodes told everyone exactly how he felt about the actions of Cena.

Rhodes thought about his 4-year-old daughter who asked what happened to ‘Dad’s face’. The undisputed WWE champion suffered a legitimate black eye after he had been attacked by Cena, the Rock and Travis Scott in Elimination Chamber. Rhodes told his daughter that he ran against a wall, but one day would tell her the truth. The truth is his hero, a man whose identity is bound to the expression “Never give up”, said it.
Rhodes remembered that Cena drove two years from city to city and learned what he could from his hero. That hero abandoned him. Cena believes that his bulletproof, the last of a dying race, but Rhodes says it is not true. That’s because Rhodes has the WWE universe behind him. The champion raised the belt over his head. He stamped his passionate speech with one of Cena’s characteristic comments: “You want what? Come get something!”
Rhodes delivered a great promo, but following the elimination room is heavy. Cena’s heel was one of the most shocking moments in the history of WWE. Friday’s promo did not have to reach that emotional high, but this feud stays in place without Cena or the rock present. Rhodes can only do so much on the microphone without opposition. Hopefully Cena and the rock can become more involved in the following weeks, even if they are pre-taped vignettes. Grade: B+

- Quite deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) def. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) and Los Garza (Angel and Berto) via Pinfall After Prince had a relapse on Sabin. Free are now no. 1 contenders for the WWE TAG Team titles.
- Naomi, who wore a neck brace, admitted that he injured Jade Cargill. Bianca Belair watched how Cargill Naomi beat each other.
- Braun Strowman def. Solo Sikoa via disqualification After Tama Tonga had attacked Strowman. After the game, Strowman Jacob Fatu stitched out of a equipment box through a table. Fatu was up again when Strowman left.
- Ladies Championship for Women – Chelsea Green (C) Def. Michin via Pinfall To keep the title after Alba Fyre Michin hit steel chairs with a Canadian destoyer. Post Match, Fyre Saluted Green.
