Apple may not have introduced its newest M4 -Uultra, but it has yielded the next best thing in the form of the M3 Ultra, which now has the highest CPU and GPU core making for one of the company’s silicon so far. Although the graphic possibilities of the SOC have yet to be revealed, the updated Mac Studio was recently noticed in the latest single-core and multi-core benchmark runs, where he cemented himself as the fastest Apple silicon by maintaining a lead of almost 30 percent against the M2 Ultra. Unfortunately, the scores obtained by the chipset are not exceptionally high compared to the M4 Max.
M4 Max rules as the single-core king for each apple silicon; New results show that the M3 Ultra is only 7 percent faster in the Multi-Core category
The Mac Studio is identified with its Mac15.14 indication, with the Benchmark Klek of Geekbench 6 that shows that the 32-core cluster was tested, which have 24 performance and 8 efficiency cores. The United Ram count is 256 GB, with the highest frequency registered as 4.05 GHz. The combination of these specifications enables the M3 Ultra to register a single-core and multi-core score of 3,221 and 27,749 respectively.

In the Multi-Threaded category, Apple’s fastest SOC acquires an increase of 29 percent against the M2 Ultra, while the story with one core shows a performance difference of 13 percent. What is very surprising about these results is the small delta between the M3 Ultra and M4 Max, because despite the last with a 16-core CPU, it is only 7 percent slower, but obtains an extensive lead of 20.5 percent in the results of one core.

The single-threaded figures have surprised us most, because the clock speeds of the M3 Ultra and M4 Max hardly differ from each other, working at 4.05 GHz and 4.14 GHz respectively. Our only gamble is that, since the entire M4 series supports the scalable matrix expansion of arm (SMEs), it enables the M4 Max to tackle more complex workload more efficiently, leading to better scores in Geekbench 6.

We will investigate these results with an eagle eye, but as far as direct comparisons go, the M3 Ultra can be crowned the fastest apple silicon that has been released so far, but that difference has not been pronounced.
